Till March, 1, 1999 the Department had been named “The Department of Mathematical Software of the Automatic Design Systems”.

There is a research laboratory “Automatic Algorithms and Program Design”, the main goal of which is to train specialists in the field of software design and testing.

The Department carries out the training for the specialization “Software for Systems of Automatization”
